We are pleased to announce that kW Energy has recently updated its B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) status in line with the amendments to the BBBEE Act. In light of this, kW Energy, your partner in the provision of small scale renewable energy solutions across South Africa, received a Level 2 B-BBEE contributor with 125% procurement recognition from a B-BBEE verification agency.
kW Energy upholds B-BBEE as an important policy instrument aimed at broadening the economic base of the country and stimulating further economic growth and creating employment. We believe this is an important step as we seek to become a green technology-driven solution provider aiming at contributing to the development of the African continent through innovative energy products. It is through pivotal initiatives by the South African government such as the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment that we are able to proudly to contribute to employment equity, preferential procurement, enterprise development and socio-economic development in the country. Through regular updates to our B-BEE certification and status, kW Energy qualifies as a “preferred” supplier to all businesses in South Africa.
Do not hesitate to contact us for more information on our B-BBEE certificate. Alternatively, you can download it here.
